Johdanto

Tutustu laitteeseen ennen ensim-

mäistä käyttöönottoa. Lue sitä varten

tämä käyttöohje ja turvallisuusohjeet.

Käytä laitetta ainoastaan kuvatulla tavalla ja

mainitussa käyttötarkoituksessa. Säilytä käyt-

töohje huolellisesti. Anna kaikki asiakirjat laitteen

mukana mahdolliselle uudelle omistajalle.

Käyttötarkoitus

Tämä tuote soveltuu kohteiden vaakasuorien ja

pystysuorien mittojen sekä kulmien mittaamiseen.

Tuotetta ei saa käyttää muulla kuin kuvatulla

tavalla eikä siihen saa tehdä muutoksia. Se voi

aiheuttaa loukkaantumisia ja / tai tuotteen vau-

rioitumisen. Valmistaja ei vastaa virheellisestä

käytöstä johtuneista vahingoista. Tuote ei ole

Älä koskaan jätä lapsia pakkausmateriaali-

en läheisyyteen ilman valvontaa. Pakkaus-

materiaaleihin liittyy tukehtumisvaara. Lapset

aliarvioivat usein vaarat. Pidä lapset aina

loitolla tuotteesta. Tämä tuote ei ole lelu!

HENGENVAARA!

Paristojen nieleminen voi olla hengenvaa-

rallista. Pariston nielleen henkilön on

välittömästi mentävä lääkärille.

J Laitetta voivat käyttää 8 vuotta täyttäneet

lapset ja henkilöt, jotka ovat fyysisiltä tai

psyykkisiltä kyvyiltääntai aisteiltaan rajoit-

tuneita tai joilla ei ole kokemusta tai tietoa

laitteen käytöstä, jos he käyttävät laitetta-

valvonnan alaisina tai heitä on opastettu

laitteen turvallisessa käytössä ja he ovat

tietoisia laitteeseen liittyvistä vaaroista. Lapset

eivät saa leikkiä laitteella. Lapset eivät

saa puhdistaa tai huoltaa laitetta ilman

valvontaa.

J Älä altista laitetta

- äärimmäisille lämpötiloille,

- voimakkaille värähtelyille,

J Älä koskaan pura laitetta osiin. Asiantun-

temattomasti tehdyt korjaukset voivat aiheut-

taa käyttäjälle huomattavia vaaratilanteita.

Anna korjaukset vain ammattiliikkeen

tehtäväksi.

J Älä vaurioita vesivaa’an libellejä. Jos libelli

on vioittunut, vältä kaikenlainen kosketus

libellissä olevan nesteen kanssa. Mutta jos

kuitenkin joudut sen kanssa kosketuksiin,

noudata ehdottomasti seuraavia ohjeita.

Ensiapu-toimenpiteet:

- IHOKOSKETUS: Roiskeet iholta on

huuhdeltava välittömästi vähintään 15

minuutin ajan runsaasti saippuaa ja vettä

käyttäen. Mikäli ihon ärsyyntyminen on

jatkuvaa, hakeudu lääkärin hoitoon.

- SILMÄKOSKETUS: Roiskeet silmistä

on huuhdeltava välittömästi vähintään 15

minuutin ajan runsaalla vedellä. Pidä silmä

huuhdellessa auki peukalon ja etusormen

avulla. Mene välittömästi lääkäriin.

- HENGITETTYNÄ: Huolehdi välittömäs-

ti riittävästä raittiin ilman saannista.

Anna hengitysvaikeuksissa puhdasta

happea.

- KOSKETUS SUUONTELOON:

Huuhdo suuontelo välittömästi runsaalla

vedellä, jos henkilö on tajuissaan. Mene

välittömästi lääkäriin.

Paristojen turvalli-

suusohjeet

J Poista paristo laitteesta, jos sitä ei ole

käytetty pitempään aikaan.

VARO! RÄJÄHDYS-

VAARA! Älä koskaan lataa

paristoa uudelleen!

J Noudata paristoa paikoilleen asettaessasi

napaisuusmerkintöjä! Ne näytetään

paristotilassa.

J Puhdista paristo- ja laitekontakti tarvittaessa

ennen paristojen paikoilleen asetusta.

J Tyhjentyneet paristot on poistettava

välittömästi laitteesta. Ne voivat vuotaa

paristotilaan!

J Paristot eivät kuulu talousjätteisiin!

J Jokainen kuluttaja on lain mukaan

velvoitettu hävittämään kaikki paristot

määräystenmukaisesti!

J Säilytä paristot lasten ulottumattomissa.

Älä koskaan heitä niitä tuleen äläkä

oikosulje tai pura niitä!

J Käytä vain samantyyppisiä paristoja.

J Jos laitteesi paristot ovat päässeet vuota-

maan, poista ne välittömästi, näin vältät

laitteen vaurioitumisen!

J Vältä kosketusta ihoon, silmiin ja limakal-

voihin. Huuhtele paristohapon kanssa

kosketuksiin joutuneet kohdat heti runsaalla

vedellä ja / tai mene välittömästi lääkäriin!

Käyttöönotto

Pariston paikoilleen

asetus / vaihto

Huomautus: Vaihda paristo, ellet käytä

laitetta pitempään aikaan. Paristot tyhjenevät

tai ruostuvat määrätyn ajan kuluttua.

Huomautus: Tarkista ennen paristojen

vaihtoa, että tuote on kytketty pois.

j Poista paristotilan kansi

laitteelta.

j Vedä paristo tarvittaessa punaisen nauhan

avulla varovasti paristotilasta.

j Poista tarvittaessa käytetty paristo

paristopistokkeesta

j Liitä uusi 9 V

lohkoparisto paristopis-

tokkeeseen

(katso kuva B). Tarkista

paikoilleen asettaessasi, että napaisuus

on oikea!

Huomautus: Pidä huoli siitä, että pistät

paristopistokkeen

kulmikkaan kontaktin

pariston pyöreään kontaktiin ja paristo-

pistokkeen

pyöreän kontaktin pariston

kulmikkaaseen kontaktiin.

j Aseta paristot paristotilaan.

Huomautus: Tarkista, että punainen

nauha on pariston alla.

j Aseta paristotilan kansi

takaisin

paristotilalle.

Huomautus: Pidä huoli siitä, etteivät

paristopistokkeen

langat ja punainen

nauha juutu kiinni.

Digitaalisen kulmamittarin

Huomautus: Digitaalinen kulmamittari kyt-

keytyy noin 5 minuutin kuluttua automaattisesti

pois, ellei mitään painiketta paineta eikä kulmaa

muuteta.

Introduction

Familiarise yourself with the product

before using it for the ﬁrst time. In

addition please refer carefully to the

operating instructions below and the safety

advice. Use the product only as described and

for the indicated purpose. Keep these instructions

in a safe place. If you pass the product on to

anyone else, please ensure that you also pass

on all the documentation.

Intended use

This device is suitable for the horizontal and

vertical alignment of an object and for the

measurement of angles. Other types of use or

product modiﬁcations are not regarded as in-

tended and may lead to risks such as injuries

and damages. The manufacturer is not liable

for any damages caused by any use other

than its intended purpose. The product is not

intended for commercial use.

button is pressed or the angle altered within

that time.

Examples of use

Measuring angles

Press the ON / OFF button

to switch

the digital measuring gauge on.

Release the tensioning screw

on the

measuring arm joint by turning it anticlock-

wise

Pull the moveable measuring arm

and

spirit level

slightly apart.

Turn the tensioning screw

clockwise

until it reaches the required resistance.

Note: make sure that adjustment of the

moveable measuring arm

and spirit

level

is still possible.

Position the digital angle gauge on two

converging objects (e.g. wooden beams) so

that both the moveable measuring arm

and the spirit level

lie ﬂat on the

surfaces (see Fig. C).

Note: the measuring arm joint

must

be positioned inside the sharp angle.

– The spirit level for vertical alignment

shows whether the object is aligned

vertically.

Note: for exact vertical alignment, the

air bubble in the spirit level

must be

exactly in the middle of the two lines.

The LC display

indicates the actual

measured angle.

General Safety

Information

DANGER TO LIFE AND

ACCIDENT HAZARD FOR

TODDLERS AND SMALL

CHILDREN! Never allow children to

play unsupervised with the packaging

material. There is a danger of suﬀocation

from the packaging material. Children

frequently underestimate the dangers.

Children should be kept away from the

product at all times. This is not a toy.

DANGER TO LIFE!

Batteries can be swallowed, which may

represent a danger to life. If a battery has

been swallowed, medical help is required

immediately.

This appliance can be used by children

aged from 8 years and above and persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given supervi-

sion or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and understand

the hazards involved. Children shall not

play with the appliance. Cleaning and

user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

Do not expose the device to

– extreme temperatures,

– strong vibrations,

– heavy mechanical loads,

– direct sunlight.

Otherwise there is a danger that the

device will be damaged.

Please note that the guarantee does not

cover damage caused by incorrect handling,

non-compliance with the operating instruc-

tions or interference with the device by

unauthorised individuals.

Under no circumstances should you take

the device apart. Improper repairs may

place the user in considerable danger.

Repairs should only be carried out by

specialist personnel.

Do not damage the spirit levels. If the spirit

level is damaged, avoid coming into any

contact with the ﬂuid that is in the spirit level.

Should you come into contact with it, you

must observe the following instructions.

First-aid measures with:

–

SKIN CONTACT:

Immediately clean

the aﬀected area with lots of soap and

water for at least 15 minutes. If the skin

continues to be irritated, go to a doctor.

– EYE CONTACT: Immediately rinse the

aﬀected eye with lots of water for at

least 15 minutes. Use your thumb and

foreﬁnger to hold the aﬀected eye open.

Go to a doctor immediately.

– INHALATION: Immediately get a

lot of fresh air. If there are respiratory

problems, use pure oxygen.

– CONTACT WITH THE ORAL CAVITY

(MOUTH): Immediately rinse the inside

of the mouth out with lots of water if the

person aﬀected is

conscious. Go to a

doctor immediately.

Using the spirit level

You can also use the digital angle gauge as

a spirit level.

Place the spirit level

against the surface

you wish to check.

– The spirit levels for vertical

and horizon-

tal

alignment show whether the sur-

face is exactly vertical or horizontal.

Note: for exact alignment, the air bubble

in the spirit level

must be exactly

in the middle of the two lines.

Troubleshooting

– The instrument contains sensitive electronic

parts. Radio-transmission devices close to

it may therefore interfere with its opera-

tion. Such devices include e.g. mobile

phones, radiophones, CB radios, radio-con-

trolled remote controls / other remote con-

trols and microwaves. If errors occur in the

display, remove any such sources of inter-

ference from the vicinity of the instrument.

– Electrostatic discharge can disrupt opera-

tion of the instrument. If malfunctions occur,

remove the battery for a brief time and

then replace it.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The device should only be cleaned on the

outside with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth.

Under no circumstances should you use

liquids or detergents, as these will damage

the device.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of

recyclable materials, which you may

dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority

for more details of how to dispose of your

worn-out product.

To help protect the environment,

please dispose of the product prop-

erly when it has reached the end of

its useful life and not in the household waste. In-

formation on collection points and their opening

hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in

accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC.

Please return the batteries and / or the device

to the available collection points.

Environmental damage

through incorrect disposal

of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual

domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy

metals and are subject to hazardous waste

treatment rules and regulations. The chemical

symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd =

cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why

you should dispose of used batteries at a local

collection point.

Safety Instructions

for the Battery

Remove the battery from the device if it is

not going to be used for a prolonged

period.

CAUTION! DANGER OF

EXPLOSION! The battery

must never be recharged!

Ensure correct polarity when inserting the

battery! This is indicated in the battery

compartment.

If necessary, clean the battery and de-

vice contacts before inserting the battery.

Remove a spent battery immediately from

the device. There is an increased danger

of leaks!

Batteries must not be disposed of in the

normal domestic waste!

Every consumer is legally obliged to dis-

pose of batteries in the proper manner!

Keep the battery away from children;

do not throw it in the ﬁre, short-circuit it or

take it apart.

Use batteries of the same type only.

If the above instructions are not complied

with, the battery may discharge itself be-

yond its end voltage. There is a danger of

leaking. If the battery has leaked inside your

device, you should remove it immediately

in order to prevent damage to the device!

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mu-

cous membranes. Any parts of the body

coming into contact with battery acid should

be rinsed oﬀ with copious amounts of water

and / or a doctor contacted if necessary!

Operation

Inserting / changing

the battery

Note: change the battery if you have not

used the instrument for any length of time.

Batteries discharge or rust after a certain

amount of time.

Note: always switch oﬀ the device before

changing the battery.

Remove the battery compartment cover

from the instrument.

Pull the battery carefully out of the battery

compartment using the red ribbon if nec-

essary.

Remove the used battery from the battery

connector

Connect a new 9 V block battery to

the battery connector

(see Fig. B).

When inserting the battery, ensure the

correct polarity!

Note: take care to plug the angular con-

tact on the battery connector

into the

round contact on the battery, and the round

contact on the battery connector

into

the angular contact on the battery.

Place the battery in the battery

compartment.

Note: take care that the red ribbon is

under the battery.

Replace the battery compartment cover

on the battery compartment.

Note: take care that the wires on the

battery connector

and the red ribbon

do not get trapped.
